Mentorship

For neurodivergent children and adolescents

I have worked independently as an advocate for and mentor to neurodivergent children and adolescents for over a decade, working alongside allied health teams, liaising with supports and services, schools and systems. I welcome contact from individuals or families who are looking for expertise, kindness, ingenuity, commitment and presence from a mentor who can support, inspire and challenge artistic, sensitive and complex beings to explore and to enjoy their authentic self and story.

In my role as a mentor I work with children and their families to co-design specific supports and their associated deliveries. From non-clinical play therapy to life-coaching, I always bring my constellation of skills to the party—drawn from my ongoing education, lived experience and my career in the creative arts.

For creative people

In 2025 I expanded my mentorship practice to include space for adults. Whether you’re an artist too, an emerging creative or simply wanting to explore the many practical ways you might tread a more authentic and connected path, I’m here to help. My high level critical thinking and problem solving skills alongside finely tuned empathy and intuition make for a good combo. I honestly love nothing more than a candid chat with another human being re: all their dreams and the life that they aspire to. It’s not head in the clouds stuff though. It can be grit and big shifts and getting a little lost along the way, but I’m never scared of the muck of being human and I pride myself on showing up, wholly as me, so others can feel free to do the same.

  • "I have known Sara for over 10 years, first as a drama teacher to my daughters, and soon after as a long-term support worker for and mentor to my eldest daughter, who has an array of complex neurodiversities. Sara has been nothing short of outstanding. She has an inherent gift in understanding, relating and adapting to everybody in her life. Sara is calm, gentle, patient and sincere. She uses creative and alternative approaches and has a talent in diffusing challenging situations. Without exception, Sara operates with the highest integrity."

  • “Sara was life changing for our family. She gave us the understanding to be able to truly celebrate our child and help them thrive. Instead of trying to adapt their life to ours, we have learned to work together better. Can’t recommend Sara highly enough!”
